Default Shaking Problems

So last night my jeep out of nowhere just started shaking really bad, it almost felt like a tire blew and was causing my jeep to wobble or something. so I checked my tires when I got out and everything was fine, then when I started it and drove it again, it kept doing the same thing, it's shaking really weird at idle and when accelerating, and it almost seems as if something is clogged and is keeping me from accelerating as easy as I usually do. I have no clue where to start looking to fix this. would a fuel filter do anything like that?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Would the death wobble cause it to do it at idle too? It almost seems as if the engine is causing it to shake or something. I looked at the motor mounts and those seem to be fine. Now I do have one spark plug that has been covered in oil because I think I have bad piston rings, but would that nasty spark plug cause something like this? it's just a weird shaking that you can really feel, it doesn't really go away when I get to certain speeds. that spark plug has been like that since I replaced them a month or two ago and it's never done this before so Im just completely lost on where to start on this.

No....Ijumped the gun. Not death wobble if the jeep is shaking at idle.

Check all your plug wires, motor mounts and tranny mount before anything else.

If it is shaking at idle while not moving, you have a miss. The lack of power you felt also points to that problem. Time for a tune up with cap and rotor, and possibly check the fuel pressure if the ignition parts do not fix it.

Yeah it turned out to be that one spark plug that was being fouled by the oil, so I bought a non fouler and I'm hoping that will keep it clean. Thanks for all the help!
