Well good thing I have shocks for a 2" lift. I'm not trying to put in a new lift for more than 2", I'm trying to take the sag out of my ***** end from when I had my 2" lift with new shocks and front springs put in. It was only an AAL in back and is starting to sag.
An alternative to new leaf springs is, you could replace your add-a-leaf with this type of set up for lift in the rear. I got a set of 2 S-10 leaf packs for $22 at my local pull-a-part. I haven't put mine in yet, but my understanding is they are supposed to be more durable than the lift company small add-a-leafs. I have read some of the guys on here that have gone this route, say that theirs rode nice after the install of the "bastard" pack.
I already have a 2" AAL in back, but it has sagged back down to stock height since the time of installation. My goal is to regain that height back out and bring it back to the same height as the front fender.

What you could do is just get another set of XJ leafs and pack them together for what lift you want. And/or you could get the shackles and call it a day.

Depending on the amount of leafs you put in will depend on the lift you get.If you do do it, I would measure what you have and go from there.

Already measured. The back is sitting about 2" lower than the front. Hence me starting this thread.

Also what I meant was to measure your springs VS the new pack if you do that.
