I'm doing this in attempt to compensate for my sagging rear leaf springs... I already have an AAL on there... any other way to get my 2" of lift I'm supposed to have back?

Bookmarked. I know this isn't the "best" option but it certainly is the cheapest. New springs would cost approx $100 each. $50 total for two brackets is a much better deal.

An alternative to new leaf springs is, you could replace your add-a-leaf with this type of set up for lift in the rear. I got a set of 2 S-10 leaf packs for $22 at my local pull-a-part. I haven't put mine in yet, but my understanding is they are supposed to be more durable than the lift company small add-a-leafs. I have read some of the guys on here that have gone this route, say that theirs rode nice after the install of the "bastard" pack.

Even with 2" of lift from new shackles, though, you'll most likely need new longer shocks too, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong

2" is about max for stock shocks, puts them at/ or close to the limit
