I am gonna head up to the JY this weekend and on my long list of stuff to grab is a new set of shackles. I saw on another thread that the mid 90's GM full size trucks are a better angle and give 1.5" of lift.

Does full size truck refer to chev/GMC 1500 PU? do suburbans, tahoes, yukon and the like work as well??

Is this a direct bolt on?

not for sure if its a direct bolt on but usually when someone refures to a full size they mean the 1500's the suburbans use the same shackles if i remember correctly

i believe i had red that they were a direct swap as well when i was looking a couple of years ago as i told my friend that i was just gunna take his out when he wasn't looking lol. But they are bolted in there upside down compared to ours so don't look at them and think that they won't fit just because of that.

Make your own, You will like it much better. Then you can extend them in any direction. Check mine out on my build thread. Made them out of scrap I had sitting around.

A welder is high up on my list of stuff to get. I am sure it will make many of my jeep projects simpler and cheaper. However the budget says no friggin way right now, so I will grab a set of JY ones to do the trick
