Default shackles??

ok i was a the jy today and i was gonna pick up some dakota leafs for my budget lift and the guy told me he had some 4" shackles??
ive never heard of anything over 2". he said he had a set or 4" 6" and 8" shackles?? could this be true? he said they should fit my 00 xj because they are "universal"
anyone have any input??

They may have shackles the measure 5-8" in length? I've never heard of anything over 3". I would stay away from them they cause to much strain on the leaf packs.

You don't want to end up like this do you?

I think they sell shackles that are 3+ inches and are universal at advance auto parts. I wouldn't use them though because well the picture doesn't lie. haha
