I have a 2 1/2 pro comp lift and add a leaf on my 99 Cherokee. The front is 2" higher in front and want to add a 1 1/2 " shackle to the rear to level it out. Will I have an issue with the new shackle hitting my exhaust in the rear ?

 

Shackles lift half of their length over the stock shackle. If you want 2" then you need shackles that are 4" longer than stock. I don't know about the exhaust but your pinion angle will change. You might need to get some degree shims to correct it.

New leafs or bastard packs would be a better route IMO.

 

If I install new 3" leafs in rear, then I will be 1 " higher in rear front front
