Shackle lifts.....and pinion angle
I'm experiencing pinion angle nightmares...with my new H&T... was wonnerin if anyone had a rough guesstimate as to what a 1" or 1 1/2" lift shackle would do to turn my rear diff up a little.....right now I'm 4* shy of where a want to be, ( 1 degree low)...and have 6* shims installed...I'm lookin for a little lift in the rear anyway, just wantin to maybe kill 2 birds with the same stone.
Thanx.....Scott

will definetly do something, I was thinking about doing it too, but how much I have no idea. You can figure it out if you know your stock shackle length, and angle and your spring eye to eye at ride height. Then do some trig with your new shackle length and it will tell you how many degrees your gaining.

I cant say how far but I have longer shackles in the rear and shims and Im pointed right up to my tail shaft. I think they were 1.5 inch shackles.
