Default Severe vibration after road bumps?

I recently had this happen twice and can't figure out whats wrong. I'll be driving on a paved road, hit a decent sized pothole/bump and my front end will start to vibrate SEVERELY, almost like going down a dirt road with bad washboard until I slow down a little. But I never lose any control over steering. I can't see anything in my suspension that's worn or any obvious damage, and the suspension is still stiff so I don't think it's shocks. Seems to only happen at highway speed 50-60 MPH.

My vehicle is a 2k Sport with 4.5" short arm lift.

Check the TRE end of your track bar and the the bracket that the TRE attaches to. Its probably loose. Have a friend bounce on the drivers side hood and watch that area to see if anything is moving.

Do you have discos?I do and if I have them disconnected and hit a pothole it does that. Handles fine when connected.

I have disconnects but have never utilized them. I'll have to get under there and have somebody bounce it around when I get a chance. I replaced the "tie rod" (actually just a heim joint)on the track bar last summer, but I'll check it again. Would I be able to see if the bushings are shot on the other end of the tie rod?

Thanks for the input.

Might have thrown a wheel weight and thrown a wheel out of balance. Had that happen to me one on a TJ.

I thought that death wobble was a pretty constant thing though, this only happens after a good bump at highway speeds and then goes away after a minute, it's only happened twice in about a months time. Still enough to bother me though.
