Default service club bent my car when jacking it up

Hi,
Got a flat rear left tire and didn't have my jack on me, so called AAA. They send down a guy who doesn't know his rear from his front. He jacks up my 99 cherokee XJ, I tell him not to put the jack under the door since its not a jackpoint, but he knows better, guess what he does, he lifts it from under the door. Now he can't get it the jeep hi enough but ripped off the old tire since it was flat, but brainless didn't think about how to get the new tire on.
So now he takes the mini spare puts it under the brake drum and drops the car on it and lifts it up at the proper place. So 2 questions:
1) Did he damage anything by dropping it on the drum which he put the spare under (the rim on it)
2) Is the damage in the pics serious, is it frame damage or nothing? Its but it pushed not only the thin stip up but the whole metal piece that its atached to up as well

It doesn't look that bad to me, I would be pissed but you don't have to worry about it

I see bent rails like that all the time, it's not serious but I completely agree with the two comments above! I'd be pretty pissed

I would contact AAA and let them know what happened. Hopefully you remember the tow company that came out. That is unacceptable and you need to have either AAA or the tow company repair that dent.

Did brakes feel any different?

Moral of the story also is if you feel something is being done wrong to your property, stand up for yourself and refuse to have that idiot jack it up! I would've sent him away.

There are a bunch of vehicles that have pinch seams that look like that. It likely won't cause you any problems but I'd still make them fix it.

AAA will know who they sent. Make a formal complaint.

I took a 3 pound sledge hammer to that entire seam. Your Jeep is fine.

But, he never would have put the jack there on my junk.

I think the 3 pound sledge woulda been better used on the AAA bozo.

I owned a towing company for 13 years. He should be canned.

He needs to read BimmerJeeper's thread on how to jack up a Jeep Cherokee.

Why the hell didn't he put the jack under the axle?

Here ya go. Shoot him this link.

Lmfao

If your rear brakes aren't making noise or pulsating after the adventure don't be too worried about damage. While driving just pull up on the E-brake a bit and feel what happens.

This tow guy needs to find a new line of work. With a lot of insurance.

Depending on your background, "retraining" can be a euphemism for "a session with a cattle prod"
