Default Serpentine Belt Length?

Does anyone know why Rock Auto has several different length belts listed for a 2001 Cherokee? One Dayco belt shows 89.57in. (Part # 5060895), and another one that is 95.08in. (part # 5060950), almost 6in. longer. I need to get one but want to get the *correct* one.

Can you still see the number on yours? Did you notice that the last numbers on the belt coincide with teh length?

DUH! I didn't check my belt yet. I should have known that! This was an impulse post since I was shopping online for compressor and all related parts to replace to make warr. requirement. Figured I might as well replace the belt. Thank you Cruiser.

Did Chrysler really make XJ motors w/no power steering and/or A/C

Cruiser: your red '88 XJ, same as my Pioneer I'm guessing, do you have the old R12 system in that old beast or did you convert? I'm looking to convert mine and need ideas from those who have done it.

I replaced the one on my '00 with the 4.0. Want to say the only question I had to answer was left hand or right hand drive. Maybe the shorter belt is for the 4 banger? Never seen one with a 4 but heard they exist.
