Default Sensor questions?

I am about to replace my crankshaft position sensor and prob y O2 sensor. I was just wondering if it matters where i get them from or what brand they are? Is there a brand that is higher quality or does it not matter?

The crank sensor, some like myself p[refer to buy from Jeep. For my 2000 I think I paid about $80.00 and no tax through my brothers company ( it listed for $115.00 or something).
Even though they are much cheaper at AZ and other parts stores- its a "quality " issue on this particular part.

The 02 sensors I usually get Bosch Direct OEM replacements--forget that wire splicing and other crap. Call around for the O2 sensor or you can get them online. I called 6 auto parts stores near me -AZ-NAPA-Advanced-ETC and they all had the sensor but from prices from $125.00-$65.00.

The $65.00 one was from PepBoys and was the same Bosch everyone else had offered so of course I bought it there.

For the crank sensor, I buy ONLY from Jeep. Too many problems (hit and miss) with aftermarket crank sensors, and considering it is the most critical sensor on the engine, settle for nothing less.

For oxygen sensors, I do buy aftermarket. I like NTK and Bosch.

And ebay= noway for engine management sensors, UNLESS the brand can be confirmed.

Depends on your budget. I use cheap parts when funds are limited and my crank sensor is 2 yrs old from AZ no issues. If I had more $ to spend I would have gone the OE route.
