sensor help

ok i have a 1999 jeep cherokee with about 180 xxxxxxx miles on it and some times when im waiting at a stop light or slowing down in traffic it starts to stall out or bog down me n my buddies think its the tps sensor or idle control modual i need help asap

99 TPS is a possibility. They are easily replaced. Don't know how to test the HO TPS or IAC. Sry mine is much older.

There are ways to test those two components, but it is really difficult without a bi-directional scanner. Is the check engine light on?

Use the key method to get your codes or have your favorite parts store scan them for you. Post up and let us know what the codes are.

There is a sticky with all the codes posted. I know because I put it up and requested that it be made into a sticky. OKC added the OBD I codes as well. So CF has those codes for anyone needing to see them.
