wondering if you lads could help me out. I have a 98 xj with the 4.0L auto trans 4x4.

I hadn't used the 4x4 on it in a while so I went to use today and am having a problem. So I engaged the 4x4 and the select trac light did not turn on the cluster. How can I go about fixing this? Could there be a problem with the transfer case?

There is a "mode" switch on the top of the transfer case, pull it out check/clean or replace.
