My drivers seat base is trashed and I know of a nice passenger seat which is identical, can I put that base in the drivers position in combo with my old seat back? I can't find a decent drivers seat. Other question is; my rear diff is howling, if'n I were to find a good 8.25 (and shorty drive shaft) with the right ratio, is it really- really a bolt in... brakes bolt up fine even? Thanks. Have a look though this thread. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/swi...-seats-192185/
It seems pre-1996 that the seat cushions were bolted on and could be switched. Later models the seat covering is lashed on over the cushion, still possible just more trouble.
96 is a changeover year so it could have either seat.
