It is actually a simple task to remove the seat. I think two nuts and two bolts. All of them I wanna say 14mm.
Pull the seat and inspect it. The motor could be a lil loose causing it too bind when powered. You could also lube up the rails a lil while you are down there so the seat will slide easier. Connector could maybe use some contact cleaner. New grounds will help everything work a lil better. If none of that works then it may just be time to head to a JY and find another power seat motor.
