Seal Kit
Have the inline six. Love it. What I don’t love? Oil spots everywhere.
I know this is the usual MO of an XJ, but I want to do a full seal overhaul of everything in the engine bay, and transmission.
Has anyone came across a seal kit they’d recommend?
Also, if my OCD is too over the top.. maybe I should look into a rebuild kit while I’m at it?

I would start with a FEL-PRO reusable rubber valve pan gasket installed correctly and the o-rigs for the oil filter adapter. Then clean the engine really well and see what that gets you. It saved me from doing the RMS as the oil was just running down the back of the engine from the valve pan and dripping out of the bottom of the bell housing. I knew the sludge on the passenger side of the block was from the adapter that leaked for who knows how long.
