AAHH I see. so 44k is better than Seafoam but also cost a little more. Do you need both product to get desired results, intake and gas tank? 2000 w/ 136k miles, I'm guessing it could use a good carbon build up cleanse.
Thanks!

44K alone does a great job. Just in the tank.
The intake system cleaner helps a great deal, it makes a huge difference.
Can you use 44k as a fuel stabilizer as well? I have been using seafoam in my cars, generator, small engines, and my ski boat because I thought it was supposed to be better than Sta-bil... any thoughts on this guys? I am willing to switch if it is... but the stabilizer part is a big portion of why I ask... I have lots of fuel that sits around for a couple of months at a time....

Cruiser would be able to give a better answer but I don't think it is. Pretty sure it serves only as a fuel system cleaner, not as a fuel stabilizer.

I took Flintstone vitamins on Sunday and felt pretty good. I took Costco vitamins on Monday and didn't feel good or have a very good day. Flintstone vitamins are clearly better than Costco vitamins.
Such empirical evidence is the mainstay of this thread.

44K is not meant to be used as a fuel stabilizer, only as a cleaner.
Thanks, I don't have a lot of fuel related performance issues, however I do have a need to keep different fuels stabilized. I will keep that in mind.

I disagree. I've used 44K for YEARS, not one day. Do as you like with your rig. I'm not suggesting you use 44K because it boosts my ego, or I wanna appear smart, or because what I use is best. It frickin works, and has proven to do so since I began using it as a Service Manager and Shop Foreman at a Jeep dealership in the early 1980s.

As far as "miracles in a bottle" for mechanical issues, Cruiser's advice is what I look for when it comes to something like this... I will take what an experienced guy/mechanic says with a little more weight. Sometimes this type of stuff is snake oil, and sometimes it is great stuff that "Grandpa" used and I have never heard of it.... And again gentlemen, we are once again talking about opinion here, unless someone has some dyno results..
all good info for us guys trying to learn...

I did seafoam last night for the first time. What can I say it, it smoked a bunch so I guess it worked well? Seems to be running smoother. I wanted to do the BG44k, but the stuff is hard to find. I think i will have to special order it and take that route next time. Again I appreciate all the input on the prefference between products as I'm sure my 2000xj 136k miles needed it.
