I used it in my 96 zj back in Feb. It idled rough until I ran it through. I did not know not to leave it in the oil and I think it might have contributed to some recent problems but I plan on using it again. It ran slick after it quite smoking.

i did the seafoam today and it did not smoke as much as the videos on youtube!! but i put some in the tank and some in my oil and so far so good..i drove about 50 miles the changed my oil

 

Did you put it in the booster as well?

 

anyone use it? where do you guys add it? Fuel, Air, Oil?

i use it all the time it works great i got 1mile for out of a tank of gas...i put in were the brake booster vacum is

 

I pour half in the throttle body and half in the tank of gas. But here is a thread from just a few weeks ago you can take a look at too.

haha sorry about that guys normally i search but i was in a hurry but yeah i put it in my brake booster vaccum line and it worked fine i gues i'll pour another third into the tank for added fuel line cleaning thanks for the responses

 

don't worry i just think we need a specific tread for this stuff since so many people use it and have questions. maybe we should turn this one into the seafoam tread

 

I added to vacuum and fuel ....not oil....it smoothed my idle out a lot!

 

Seafoam works great on our 4.0l's! Put it in through the brake booster and put some in the gas tank.

And +1 for a Seafoam sticky, ha.

 

I just add to the gas. I know for a fact from doing a tear down that it takes care of carbon in the combustion chamber.

 

if you add it to your oil you will be sorry.

 

You think it breaks the oil down too fast?

What if you only ran lets say 100 miles on it, then changed the oil?
