Scratching my head over oil pressure . . .
So on my 2000 Classic after the the engine warms up the oil pressure gauge drops to nothing and the check gauges light comes on . .
So I did my homework and hooked up a mechancial gauge and pressure was normal 20psi after warmed up . . .
So I went and got a sending unit, just put it in and ..... engine warms up and . . . pressure drops and check gauge light comes on ...
Now I'm clueless . . .
Any help is appriciated
Thanks

You could have received a bad sensor! Ihave had that happen more than once! They are a cheap sensor!! Hope thats it! Make sure your using good oil and a decent viscosity. I use 10W40 Mobil One in the summer and 10W30 Mobil One in the winter. Good Luck!!

Could be a bad one I guess, but its an actual Chrysler part, not a knockoff ... I'm not concerned about it that much because I know from the mechanical gauge that its fine ... Just irritating to have that light on ..
