In my state, the title is what conveys ownership. Period.

i had a similar problem. I just called the city and said the PO abandoned it at my shop and then sent him a storage bill. They towed it charged him for the impound and then I went after him for storage fees. He will think twice before jerking you around after that. But I bought it from the impound auction for next to nothing.

Well you can revive a 10 year old thread that is for sure! Don't know if the OP is still in the same situation after 10 years have passed for it to help him now, though!

This is what we call a zombie thread. There are two features called Related Threads and Infinite Scroll that were implemented during the last major forum update. Many disabled both long ago, for multiple reasons. Myself included. I would not be surprised if some of the zombie threads popping up have been a result of those features being enabled. They can be as helpful as they are a hinderance.

User CP > Control Panel > Settings & Options > Edit Options. Scroll down to Thread Display Options and select Disable Related Threads, and Disable Infinite Scroll. Save changes.
