Sorry guys kinda dumb but does anyone know a good reliable website that I can get a scan tool from? I looked on quadratec and I couldn't find anything. Also price ranges of them?

craftsman has one that will read abs as well...
but hell if you dont want all that hastle harbor freight has one thats cheap and will least get ya the codes.

Most diagnostics can be done with a multi-meter though.
The renix era Jeeps have some known issues.

I picked up a Snap-on MT2500 + modules and keys for $200 and it works. Only live readings (no stored codes on a Renix). I've got other cars so I think it was worth it. If I just had the Jeep, I think a multi-meter and a NOID light would be just about enough.
