89 xj cherokee laredo 4.o, got the new power steering pump, any tips or advice for when i change it, pulling the pully, any tricks or tips? thanks

 

i just did one, a few things... you will need a pulley puller/installer. you can rent them at auto zone for free. while your there its a good idea to replace the pressure line. then when the new ones in just fill it back up
start the xj and move the wheel back and forth all the way untill the all the air is out filling it as you go. have fun!

 

I am ready, did you have to take your fan out of the way? i have 2 fans and the one only gives me mayne a 1.5" space between it and the front of the pulley
