Saggin leaf springs..
Alright, so I have been reading all the Jeep tech threads, pretty much everything I can to gather information on how to properly fix, and keep my XJ running as well as she is now. I knew upon purchasing my Jeep that she did have a few issues, a few of them I have been able to fix. I have been debating about what to do about my sagging leaf springs. Shortly after I purchased the Jeep, I bought some helper springs to...well help having any load on the rear. but it's the front of the springs I am worried about...they have quite the negative sag. I have been reading up on all the "bastard packs", because don't have the extra moolah to just go and buy my lift at this time...I will try to post a picture of what I am dealing with, hopefully tomorrow...is putting together a bastard pack easy enough...just lookin for some ideas...

Haven't put one together myself, but from everything I've seen here they seem to be pretty simple and the cheapest way to go. Unfortunately, they do give you some lift that will leave you to also lift the front.

Have you thought about the shocks with helper springs? I know its a bandaid for the leafs, but shouldn't create a lift issue.

The problem with helpers as a fix will be they wear out really fast.
While your at the salvage yard you can pick up some spring isolators from an F body as a spring spacer.
