Hi guys. Can't sleep. That whisle from some pulley is driving me nuts! I have to drive 400 miles roundtrip tomorrow w kids and dogs.all temps fine andoil pressure excellent. Just installed new coolant hoses, flushed coolant system/new coolant,( heat is excellent now!)New elect radiator fan, new fan clutch, oil change, new air filter, new serpentine belt(good one) w/ little belt dressing, whistle coming from some belt pulley. Comes and goes, loud to faint, then no sound. Weird. Am I worried for nothing?

are you sure it is coming from a pulley and not your air hoses?

Not saying it is your problem... but I had the same type noise when my belt idler pulley bearing went out. You could pop the belt off, hand rotate the idler pulley and see if it feels like there's sand in there...
Just a possibility.
