Default Safari Snorkel????????????

Thinking about getting a snorkel. If I'm spending the money why would I get an expensive intake that only looks good under the hood? I want some four wheelin function!!

Good idea? Bad idea?

Share your thoughts and experiences please...

Homemade snorkels look like trash. no arguments.... I mean come on, pvc pipe? lol junk (although many ppl might build very functional ones its just not for me.) I'm taking about buying a legit manufactured snorkel.

I'm looking into the airflow but there seems to be an issue with shipping. Ebay here I come!

So ive been looking at this photo and its got me thinkin. I have an aftermarket air intake, which I dont like (cheap brand), so I dont have the cherokee air intake box. I do have a stock air intake box and all the tubing and brackets from my old grand cherokee. Could I use that? also is there still a drop in filter in the box to help filter the air further?

you can say what you want about them but i know i can spend that 500+ on a lot better stuff, my buddy has a safari snorkle and it got the same results as the ones i made out of pvc, beauty is no aspect that should go along with a real jeep, functionality is!!!
