Before I start getting too far into it, does anyone know if it's possible to take the hitch off an S10 ('97 or so) and install it on a 2001 Cherokee?
I can get my hands on the hitch for free, but I just want to know if it's worth the headache or even possible. I"m almost positive that I'll need to drill new holes. I'll take a look today and start to do some figuring.

 

Just measure it out. I have a rear hitch on the front of my cherokee so with some fab work anything will fit. Question is will it be worth the hassle.

 

Easiest way to probably figure this out would be to go to etrailer.com and search hitch for your jeep then for the S-10 and see if the part numbers are the same.
