Rusty's or Zone Shocks?
Hey Guys,
Did a search couldn't really find an exact answer pertaining to what I am asking.
Rusty's Performance Shocks or Zones Nitro Shocks?
Pro's and Con's for each?
Thanks!

have heard that rusty's are no good, zone sells cheap lifts so probably cheap shocks, you really do get what you pay for. doetsch tech are supposed to be good and alot cheaper than bilstein.

As far as cheap shocks go, I would say skyjacker was the worst, then procomp. I have rusty's now I think? Maybe rough country. But rustys and zone will be relatively the same. Zone is made by BDS so I would go with those, but it really wont make a noticable difference either way.
Edit: I have hydro shocks, I heard the nitro's ride terrible when you go with cheap shocks..

Thanks for the replies guys, Sadly I cannot afford to buy real expensive shocks at the moment.
I was just looking at the Rustys/Zone ones because I had read that they are decent for the price and was wondering what the rest of you all thought.
They are roughly the same price but I didn't know what the difference was between the two and whether nitro would be better.
If anyone else wants to add something, it'd be great. Still trying to decide

What do you use your jeep for? I do mainly street driving so I opted for the softer hydro shock. Out of the two I would go with zone. And out of nitro and hydro, I'd go with hydro. I'm sure somebody else will disagree but thats just my opinion. Nitro's will be firmer, and the two brands will be about the same, I like zone because its from BDS and they make good shocks.
My shocks were like 33 bucks a piece

Rustys, my bud has a complete zone kit and it rides like a ****ing dump truck, i personally love my 35 dollar rustys shocks. Hydros are gonna give you a smoother ride than nitro, but nitro provides a better offroad performance.

We are planning on off roading with it, but we are still getting our jeep ready. We are going to be buying a 4" lift off a fellow member on here and need the get shocks. It is a daily driver aswell.
So far we have 1 for zone and 1 for rustys.
Still on the fence regarding nitro or hydro.
We are new to all this so we really appreciate the help guys!
