Question Rusty's VS RC

Alrite, I'm looking at 4.5" lifts. None of the AAL's crap, i'm going full pack out back. My question for all you americans is which kits would you get? they are around the same price. Minus shipping, thats i'm not sure of yet. i"d rather pick a kit before i even ask about shipping!

I would get rubicon express if you have the money. If not i would say Rough Country bc they are cheap and ok quality. Rusty's is suppose to have issues so I would stay away from them, but you will hear different things from different people that have run them both.

both are crap. do some research. buy quality the first time. it sucks having to replace bushing or a leaf because its sagging after 6 months.

buy cheap you get cheap crap

then save more. when you have to replace your bushings or a leaf in 6 months its going to add up to the same price as a RE kit. there are other quality companies out there. do some research.

I love my rc 4.5 lift. Not one problem in almost 3 years. No bushings wearing out or leafs going bad. Mine doesn't even sag at all. I think someone just had a bad experience. Don't know about rustys. Rc is not as bad as some say. But all in all it really your decision. Good luck with the hunt and chose what you think you will like. Not what every one else tells you to get. Its on you in the end.

I dont have a RC kit and would never buy one seeing what I have to deal with at work. I just deal with all the RC issues that come into the shop lately.

I have RC and so far its great. From what i can tell the parts seem solid and work really well.

You are gonna get bad for both and good for both lifts. RE is the nicest but i couldnt afford it so i went with RC and am glad i did.

Well that is funny you just recommended that I go with an RC lift the other day.....

I have a buddy with an RC lift that has been pretty happy with it so far but you are going to hear conflicting opinions on every lift.

ya I only suggest RC if its not going to get wheeled. we are dealing with a ton of RC bushing, leafs, and bent control arms lately. your case you will not be wheeling it.

IMO if you feel that something is that poor of quality and has that many problems then why suggest someone should use it no matter how it will be driven or "wheeled"?

Sorry if you are naive. my bad. RC doesn't and will not hold up to wheeling. I have a rig on the lift right now with shot bushings, leaf spring that gone. RC will handle DD responsibilities and that's about it

I also stated in my post that it would see mild trail use! I am naive because you are reccomending something that YOU say is CRAP?
