I guess I am used to people doing it right.
Yes T-case drop for your application would be best.
A modification will have to be made to that since you will have driveline vibes without it.
SYE and Driveshaft would be good for offroading.
You need to do some research on your own for lifting a vehicle a lot of thought and consideration needs to be done. It is not something you can just jump straight into with a limited budget.
Hmmmm I guess Rusty's changed from cheap Chinese steel. That was always the biggest complaint about rusty's I don't know. I won't buy from them anymore there products have a bad Rep with a lot more jeepers than they have a good rep with.
Me personally I think buying a lift and big tires just to look good is a waste of my time and effort even replying to this post.
Hey look at me I have a mall crawlin lift Jeep. What a waste.
You could prolly buy a lift used Jeep for as much as you will spend trying to get it there ha ha.

Asking these questions is kind of pointless, you get more bias answers than actual fact.
RE and Rustys both have good quality kits. And most of the problems you will here about Rustys is from the past, as there product quality has greatly improved.
But knowing that all Rustys stuff is made in house is a plus for me. And an extra bonus, Rusty is an xj guy...

All I wanted was some advice. I have read thru the forum, i have tried searching but I still dont know much about this.
As for doing things "right" im all for that. BUT when you dont necessarly know what is "right" you have to ask questions. I have asked 2 lift companies if i need a SYE and what not. One says yes...one says no. Sooo ya sorry if I was such a waste of time for asking for some help.
Hope you have a good day.
To all others in the thread, thanks for the help so far.

I just dont see why some people get soo bothered by what other people do with their vehicle.

I did get a lil testy there at the end.
Oops. I just think of my ex-wife and how she was the "look at me type"
Then just got a bad taste in my mouth and went on a tyraid.
Oh well.
I told ya straight up what you will need to do it RIGHT. You will have a lot of other opinions of other guys that cut corners and what not.
For 4.5 inches of lift and 32's you will need stuff even on a 2wd vehicle.
For lift.
Longer driveshaft
Adj Control arms
Adj track bar
a drop pitman arm.
Longer Brake lines.
For tires
Are ya using stock rims. if so then prolly some wheel spacers or adjust your steering stops.
If you want any take off then you will want better gearing in the rear diff. *** 3.55 gears turning 32's will scream.
Just a lot to consider when lifting a vehicle.

der sherlock.
