some will tell you stay away, some will say buy it, wheel it and see for yourself. i like rustys and i use rustys. i like the ride on and off road. it rides the way i want and flexs the way i like. some roads a rough but some are nice. its a jeep not a sports car.

where are you located at? check out my ad on here, its alittle bit more but the stuff has never been used.. plus im adding ina trackbar. let me know.

as for your rustys decision, i dont find the st uff to be bad. my buddy has his 4.5" and its kind of noisy but its still holding up. is it add-a-leaf or full leaf pack for the rear?

i have heard a lot of horror stories from rustys...from snapping a coil and almost rolling...to someone actually rolling their wrangler from rustys trac bar breaking...

its just personal preference what you like and dont like...im sure there has been some flaws with higher priced stuff too...

I have the rusty's 3" kit with full leafs, only complaint is the rusty's brand shocks. but im in the process of getting new Bilstein shocks. Dont forget, use at least a 3/4" coil spacer up front

You have to do that with the RE 3.5 kit aswell..I just used a spare set of factory isolators..

Yes if your front sits lower in the front then the rear just toss a 3/4" spacer in up front but measure the difference first..if it's a 1" diff add a 1" spacer..You can get stock isolators and JY's for dirt cheap and that will get you about 3/4" of lift.

well another things with lifts being cheap are also add a leaf kits or blocks. i mean i dont think rough country's is much more than that either for that size. it just comes with less as well

ya, blocks and add a leafs ruin leaf springs pretty quick right? because all of my buddies are puttin 4 or 5 in blocks on their big trucks, and i always wondered why, but i guess they arent really going to be doing much trail riding, mainly playin in the mud and stuff... so they dont really need that lift that you loose from the sag... but i was really considering just gettin a small lift for my jeep, and almost bought a rustys, but now that ive read all this... im rethinking that

Good lift for the money is Rough Country. I love mine I got 2, 3 in lifts, one for each waggie and they are great.

Just an update...Rough Country has a new 3" lift out that now comes with new Lower Control Arms and sway bar drop brackets on top of the shocks, coils and leaf packs.. cost with new leaf packs is around $600..Pretty solid deal I might add..Then all you need to do is redrill the trackbar axle mount hole. Maybe add some extended rear brake lines and you arel pretty well set.
