Rustys Issues

It's "ok" but not the beefiest. The tie rod is a regular ball and socket joint that tends to wear faster than other setups and doesn't have as much range of movement. It's basically the same setup as stock, except adjustable and a little thicker. I had a trackbar on my tj that was identical to 4wd's and i had to replace the tie rod end within a year due to wear and tear. There was slop in it.

As previouly stated, "You get what you pay for." So save up and buy the best you can afford. If that takes awhile, so be it. Your life and limb are dependant upon your choices and they better be right or you better be lucky like this guy was.

Hmm... the pic yesterday showed a broken TRE, a wheel laying on the road and what appears to be lugnuts still attached... Something isn't quite right with this story...
The TRE itself sheared off, not the trackbar that we have any visual evidence of.. The damage to the TRE certainly looks like it was a metal fatigue failure. But with a complete lack of proof..
Got agenda????

I my self will still buy Rusty's stuff, BUT I do use thought with what I buy. As for Track bars I went with JKS HD cause I wanted the best.
As for that pic I call BS blaming the crash on Rusty's it looks to me like he lost a tire than when it flipped broke the track bar... A broken track bar won't make a tire fly off but a tire flying off will make a track bar break...
Like everything I buy and my friends buy for there Jeeps research, research, research that is the only way to do it...

There is no telling what caused that crash. It really could have been anything. A crash that violent will have caused massive damage to all areas of the vehicle. Who knows when that joint failed, it could've been broken in the crash. That is one LUCKY freaking dude!!
Watch the video that the OP linked. Where the cruiser pushed the heap off the highway. At the end where he goes over the broken stuff, the wheel is shown, and its just ripped from the hub.

Wheel gone, lugnuts still on and I don't see the center of the wheel still on hub??? something is definitly not right. I have a Rusty' trackbar and the tre is a moog piece. I didn't think moog made cheap parts.
