I used a few before (for other cars), they didn't work.

Dam! Looks like mud LOL! Get you a gallon of aluminum brightner from a truck shop that they clean big truck aluminum with and poor a cup full in with water and start it up and let it run for 30 mins,then drain repeat till its clean

I'd replace everything that coolant runs through. Pump, tstat, housing, hoses, and rad (the easy stuff) and flush the rest like a stubborn turd. Repeatedly.

Um. Forget flushing it. Replace that. And every other cooling component. Good god man. Talk about neglect. That makes me sad.

Yea that is also in your engine, Your freeze plugs are for sure gone and need replacing.

I guess, you mean head and block?

Do you think I should replace thermostat?
