Went to change the rear shocks today and snapped one of the top bolts off. Goin to drill it out tomorrow maybe. Im thinking that if i heat the bolts and area up i might be able to get them lose a little easier and quicker then PB blaster. I just really dont feel like breaking any more of them. Once they are out im going to pour a bottle of anti seize on some new bolts of the same thread only stronger. To hell with using the old ones.
Any better ideas would be great. I am getting tired of having all the repairs hit me at once

More than likely you'll bust the remaining three. There are lots of threads dealing with those busted bolts. I drilled and tapped mine, but a lot of guys knock out the welded in nuts and fish nuts up in there.

^^ I have seen people that knock the factory nuts out and fish actual bolts through, and put nuts on the bottom part once they install the shock..... that is the plan I have...

I dont know if you have acess to shop tools, but the shop I work at has one of those flameless torches, that electrically heat up the bolt. might work
dude, don't waste any time trying to drill them out or heat em up. Just bust them all off and then use an air hammer with a chisel bit to knock the pressed/welded nuts right off. Then take a thin piece metal line and fish some 5/16 x 1 inch stainless course threaded bolts/washers through the holes from the open area on the sides of the bolt area and use that to bolt the shocks up. You don't have to cut up your floor board or do any of that junk. Punching out the old nuts took about 20-30 minutes and fishing the bolts through took another 30 minutes. There is a DIY around one of the forums that covers it really well, either here or jeepforum.
