Default Rust Removal: Wire Wheel Vs. Sandblaster

Okay so this June I will be removing the light rust from my passenger and driver floorboards due to the windsheild seal being bad. I have a friend who has a sandblaster and I myself can buy a wire wheeler if he backs out of helping me. I will be doing one or the other and then coating the floor where ever needed with POR-15. I was just wondering which one would you guys do, the sandblaster or wire wheel? I know that rust pits metal and it is necessary to clean out those pits as good as possible making the sandblaster more useful but would it still work if I wire wheeled it?. Two questions about the wire wheel process:

1. What type of wire thing should I use? I mean how aggressive should it be

2. what is a green loc disk?

It is similar to a scotch brite pad. Kinda like this picture.

Wire wheel or scotch brite pads will work. But if sand bead or soda blaster is available that will be faster.

You definitely can't beat a sandblaster for removing rust, but sometimes it's just not economical or easy to do. I make sure to keep plenty of wire wheels around of varying wire thicknesses at all times.
