Was taking my brakes apart this evening to replace the rotors, etc and I got a closer look at the rust in the wells. What would the best course of action be to get this cleaned up? My plan is to bedline the wheel wells. Should I scrape/sand this all down to good metal and prime/line it? POR15 right over it?

Go nuts with the rust inhibitor (make sure to treat both sides of the metal, at least two coats) that will buy you some time. Eventually it will rust through and the only permanent fix would be to cut off the old shock towers/inner fenders and weld in new ones, this is theoretically possible but beyond what most people would be willing to undertake.

Sounds like a plan of attack that I can handle. Would be nice to keep this Jeep for a while and maybe some elbow grease will buy me some time.
