Default Runs rough after operating temp and shut off

After I drive my jeep and go to start it back up it runs rough and won't rev up much. I just bored my TB, could it be because I didn't reset the ecu? It's a 2000 so I believe I have to reset it with a scanner right?

I think you can do an ECU (PCM) reset simply by disconnecting battery negative then wait some period for memory clearing. I have also read where others disconnected the cables from both battery terminals then shorted the cables together for a minute to achieve same.

What you described may also be a sympton of low fuel pressure...

Tried it just in case it did work. I didn't notice anything after. I do remember now that it didn't start doing it until after I bored my TB. I had to make my own gasket for the IAC, could it be from a leak there?

Possible injector heat soak issue as well, there is a TSB on it, most common in 00-01's. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/mis...der-3-a-82213/ post # 9

I'm having the same problem.
You know that would be pretty ironic, haha. I have some ford injectors sitting around waiting to go in. But, as far as I know, I haven't thrown a code.
