Thinkn he should figure out why no dash lights. Running E-Fan power through the ignition switch just might help fry it. (disconnect that) Sounds like he can energize the start relay, which has terminals to temporarily energize the fuel pump. Maybe two bad ign switches?

When you are starting the ignition switch bypasses the relay allowing it to start when you release the key back to the on position the relay is suppose to take over, and keep the motor running.

Pretty sure Freedgr is saying, starting, the start relay juices the fuel pump. Then the fuel pump relay takes over once the ECU gets a signal from the CPS that the engine has started, and grounds the FPR to run the pump. (not happening for you, with the fuel pump relay not getting power from the ign, I'm thinking)
No power from the ign switch to things like dash lights is not right. Thinkn he should figure out why no dash lights. Running E-Fan power through the ignition switch just might help fry it.

Figure out why you have no juice when the key is in the "on" position. Everything else should work after that.

PM recived from OP states.......Was able tonget to switch today. Still had old steering coloum. Looked at switch. One prong burnt. Dropped coloum in jeep. Noticed plugs were melted and burnt. Switch also had prong burnt in same place. Need to replace plugs.
Should have checked everything out before install.
Thanks again for feedback and suggestions

X2. That is a really bad idea. First, it's not normally needed if your cooling system is working properly. If it's not, fix what's wrong.
Second, if you want the fan working all the time (why?), wire it properly. Use a relay. Like this.
