For inanimate objects, like the XJ, wind velocity will not reduce temp below ambient temp.
From Wikipedia:
For inanimate objects, the effect of wind chill is to reduce any warmer objects to the ambient temperature more quickly. It cannot, however, reduce the temperature of these objects below the ambient temperature, no matter how great the wind velocity.

Radiator shop guy says my system is fine. He measured water/coolent temp and found it is was running cooler than my gauge is telling me. It is unusually goddamn hot here right now anyway......
_ Should I trust him and just live with it bouncing up to 215 in heavy traffic at this time of year?
- I've already replaced tstat. Replace the senser?
- Coolent looks brand new. Should I go forward with a full flush of system (radiator shop wants $80.)? Can I do this myself? If so, is there a thead here for this?

My, my, the little boy got his feelings hurt because he didn't know that wind chill doesn't effect inanimate objects (like a liquid), only ambient temp does. Dude, you really have a burr under your saddle....go back and read some of your posts just to see how hateful you are......but you probably won't get it. I feel sorry for you because life is too short go through with your attitude.
