Default Running rough

When out on the trail sometimes we stop and chit chat, hence the jeep gets turned off. After starting it back up it idles real rough and if you hit the throttle it's still rough, last about 30-60sec then goes away. Any ideas? 98' 4.0 stock except for a throttle body spacer, spectre air intake, and thrush muffler. Thanks in advance for any ideas or thoughts you may have.

The fuel pump may be bleeding off or an injector is leaking and causing the pressure to bleed off.

So maybe I should go ahead and put those 703 injectors in and see if that fixes it.

Heat soak, there really is not a real solution for it. I just let mine sit for atleast 30 minutes to cool off before I restart. Works great and don't trip a code.

The above suggestions are good possibilities...put a fuel pressure gauge on it and see if it holds pressure after shut down. If you eliminate that, then start looking at the heat soak issue.

If it doesn't hold....then injectors?

Not per se, if it doesnt hold, it could also be the ' drain back' valve malfunctioning.
There are two, if I'm not mistaken, one is in the fuel pump assembly.
