running hot
The Raidator is a good idea and will probably not be cheap but worth it over blowing your motor but i would recommend one more thing before you spend the money for a new raidator mine was running hot also and i found this raidator coolant adative made by royal purple and it made a 15* difference im not saying i will fix your problem but never know untill you try it i found it a local NAPA auto part but you might be able to find it somewhere else.

I got the radiator for 189 from DPG offoad. I ordered 3 for me and my 2 buddys. Its pretty easy to install too. I say skip all the flushing and additives because your gonna spend $50+ to figure out you need a radiator anyways like I did.
I drove to seattle last night to pick of my bat crazy @$$ daughter and my super cool, grand son after their car broke down (felt a little sad leaving my son inlaw standing next to his piece of crap Toyota that he refused to leave). Anyway, this was the first time I had the XJ in traffic and was a little concerned about the temp, about 190 on the interstate but as soon as we were parked with it running it shot up to 210, I thought this was hot but after reading all of these threads it appears to be pretty normal. My oil pressure on the other hand had me concerned also, 40-50 on the road, drops as low as 20 when deceling or idling but last night when it was at it's hotest the oil pressure was about 10-12.
These gauges are not the best for trying to pinpoint temps and pressures but I was moderatly concerned, I feel better about things after reading on the topic here but would appriciate some input on the oil pressures.
Oh, and why in the hell does the electric fan take so long to come on? I never once saw it start, I am going to start it up and start the AC to see if it goes round and round.
