Exclamation Rubicon Express sucks!!!!

Ok so I bought the 3.5 inch superride and their SYE kit and had it installed by a good shop down the street, but there is still vibes. They said they called RE and they told him in more words tough **** this is for off roading. They have the rear angle at 8 degrees right now and that the vibes at a min but I was under the impression that the SYE would take care of all the vibes. This is my first lifted truck. Am I wrong to think that the customer service should be better, what would you guys tell the shop.

PS if it matters it is a chy rear and and 31 inch bfg at's

A couple questions. Did you have it aligned after the lift? Are the tires balanced? Just a couple things that if we know them we might be able to help you better.

Parts suppliers generally dont have alot of time to diagnose problems on the phone after the sale.. just a fact. I'm assuming you took this to a regular automotive garage with little to no experience with lift installs.

My advice would be do some reading on how to set the driveline angles, get the proper tools and check/adjust them if necessary.

What SYE and rear driveshaft did you install?

Wow this is new. Haha. I have the same lift and a t-case drop and no vibes. If you say you got a sye and it still vibes then its not a driveline vib unless you got the wrong length drive shaft, which has nothing to do with rubicon express. Im confused why you think they suck. Your argument has nothing to do with them.
Overlandxj beat me to it haha.

Yeah it was alighted and the tires balanced, the jeep is a 96 and has only 80k on it so I do not see why it would be something from the front. It happens front like 55-65 mph. Everything was done at a shop ( i know I shoulda done it but I was deployed and did not wanna mess with nothing when I got back)

55-65? sounds like death wobble to me, may have been an underlying problem that the lift brought out into the open.....IMO

What SYE and rear driveshaft did you install?

Bought straight from RE...I took it to a shop that the owner races off road trucks... he specializes in diff and drivelines.

As stated above they sell lifts and are not there to help you with your driveline vibes. They tell you that you may need a sye and thats it. If you install a sye and still have vibes then its either a faulty sye or another issue with the front end.
If the sye was bought from re did you order the correct length driveshaft?

Can you get us a picture of the drive line angle? 8* shim sounds a little much for the lift and the fact that it has a sye.

I agree with this. With a sye installed and that small of a lift you shouldn't have driveline vibes.

Has the drive shaft taken any direct blows? What could appear to be a "small" imperfection from an offroad trip or otherwise could be amplified once enough velocity is added to the equation.

+1 for pictures, and good luck.
