okay i got a 98 xj 4.0 changed distr cap wires spark plugs, radiator water pump thermostat, thermostate housing. then batt died and i put a temp in cause jumping it wasnt helping. gauge was reading 14 then drops wile key was in on position. it eventually statrts with semi new batt, runs in idle and when i rev it, 85% of the time it dies if i dont keep hittin the gas, when i put it in drive same thing ill go a few feet but ittle die unless i rev it up. any help would be great heading to maine and its about a few hundred miles its my way home help me. oh yeah cleaned all wires and intake manifold
