As I was searching for my cherokee (1996 ) I noticed some had a black rubber flor instead of carpet. I'd like to know where to find these kits at. I hate carpet. All I can find is rubber floor mats, not the whole kit?

It's not a kit, it's truck bed liner.

That was a police option or very rare dealer option you can't buy it online you can take one out of another XJ or make your own. Most people here just Herculine the inside and remove the carpet

The Xj owner probably just tore out the carpet and put truck bed liner in it. Edit: lol everyone beat me to it

My dads 2 door has that. Im pretty sure it's not a police jeep but maybe a service jeep.

Idk why it's a rare option. We have a ford at school that came factory with it and my friends 07 ram has it. And a suburban i was in for school had it. Thats kinda weird that jeeps of all things don't have vinyl floors

Ya they should all just come with it underneath the carpet it would be so much better for a jeep
