Default Rough Rider Winch Any good.

Cheap on Quadratec, the right price for a high school kid. Anyone have any experience with them or buddies. Likes, Dislikes of the 8500lb winch.

warn is good, and but they cost a arm and a leg, my XRC8 hasn't failed anything so far and i use it on a regular basis, (3 years old). I sunk my jeep in some nasty mud once and couldn't see the tires (suction cupped) and i didnt think it would get it out but it didnt even act like it was straining. i've pulled a few dualies out as well, oh and and 18 wheeler that high centered

I'd like to recommend www.winchdepot.com. Free quick shipping & great customer service.

the rough rider looks just like the super winch lp8500 that i got and i aint had any issues with mine but if i could do it again i would get the xrc 10 its not too much more and its rated for more weight but i have an adult budget lol, since rough rider is new i would get the xrc 8 since thats a well known name and have been well tested by a bunch of member

may i recommend pics of the said bumper?

I dont want to say its bad, and i will assume its the best bumper in the world. but i have seen some of the fab work on bumpers, and i would not hook a bungee cord to some.

better safe then sorry
