Default Rough idle when hot

so this has probably been talked about alot but i need to no what to do asap bc my jeep gets hot and if i cut it off and go in the store for a few and then comes back to go it has a rough idle for at least 3 mins if i keep the rpm's at 2000 but today it fulled out and i can't stand it anymore, i need to fix this right now so please tell me what to do. the motor has 285,000 miles on it

heat soak problem. With my 5.2 grand it was the crank sensor. EXACT same symptoms, then it started shutting off until I would open the hood and leave the air cool the sensor down.

i replaced that a while back. did the water pump,thermostat, hmm i'm thinking of a new radiator? don't no! man this sucks. people help!

ok, so does it overheat, or just run odd? If it doesn't overheat a rad won't fix anything. If you are not getting any codes then it could be the injectors getting heatsoaked

it heats over 210 when idling....with everything off lol...

I have a 2001 which did it until i bought a five dollar can of carb cleaner let it soak and than ran the truck at idle, its seemed to cure the problem, I work at a jeep dealership and the techs recommended this for me.
