Hello all! I have a 00 Cherokee w/ 4.0 6 cyl. (82,000 miles). Within the last few days it has started giving me troubles with starting when warm (usually 10-15 minutes after parking). It will sometimes idle rough until I give it some gas, other times it barely idles at all. If I wait less than 5 minutes or more than 30 it starts and idles fine. At no point while driving does it start to run poorly, although, it seems like there is some power loss (although this may just be in my head).
I've heard/read that the crank position sensor could cause this, so I replaced it (no help). I've also replaced the plugs (first step). Is there something that any of you have come across that will cause this? I like to tinker and don't get a chance to nearly enough, it seems. Although, I don't mind taking to a shop if I must. Just looking for a little help or some suggestions.
