rough idle, stall
Hello CF!
So I was driving my Jeep off base today when it suddenly died and came back to life a couple of times then died for good. This had happened once before and I just unhooked the battery for 69 seconds and it ran fine. Did the same this time, but this time it started hesitating to accelerate and eventually got a rough idle, and began to stall out. The idle and stalling seemed to be getting worse on subsequent cranks, and the accelerator had no effect at all. Any suggestions? 92 4.0

Accelerator had no effect? Troubleshoot by checking the throttlebody area. Make sure your connections are all where they should be and not broken. Check throttle positioning sensor, check your injectors, check your spark plugs, check your distributor.
Are you misfiring? Any check engine lights? Can you throw a scanner on to see if there are any problems?
Your computer might even be bad.

This can be multiple things.
Before the whole fest of idea-throwing really kicks off: what have you replaced in the past or recently and have you done any diagnostics yet?
