Yes but...
"Additionally, if your Jeep is an 87 to 90 Renix, it’s always a good idea to reach up under the glovebox area and unplug the connector to the TCU and spray it out along with the receptacle of the TCU. While you’re there, find the fuse right in that area for the TCU. Remove it and spray out it’s receptacle and clean any corrosion from the fuse."

I plan on getting contact cleaner and spraying all of the plugs cause there filthy. I also took dizzy cap and rotor off and cleaned them up with sand paper (im tight on money) and it halped starting sooner but this idle thing is bugging me.
As for the tranny if i give it small amount of gas it shifts fine but if i give it more it shifts later and a lil harder
gonna drain pan again this weekend and refill

Do you think you may have a Throttle Position Sensor problem....

Does the CEL bulb work?
Does the CHECK ENGINE on the instrument cluster illuminate when you turn the key to RUN, before cranking the engine?
There may be pending codes. Have the codes looked at using a quality code reader or scanner that can see pending codes, as well as active codes.

Im thinking about going to a junk yard and taking the whole throttle body off a rig and swapping sensors w it as i dont have the money for new one but im leaning towards the iac as it on does it at idle and has no problem accelerating

I started jeep as usual today and it idled fine no bouncing around or anything. It did however do it when i left work last nite makes me wonder if theres a loose connection somewhere. I had also bombed threw a large puddle last night as it was raining but dont think thatd change the idle. Anyway i bought a set of champion 438 plugs for it and got valve cover gasket as mines leaking pretty bad. On a side note after i do gasket i wanna degrease motor as its caked with dirt and oil theres also oil on intake manifold but im a lil hesitant at cleaning that off with all the sensors around it.
