rough idle after flex plate swap.

my flex plate was cracked so i got a new one from advanced auto parts. i put it in and now it idles like crap and wont gain any rpms. its back firing its acting like the timing is off but you cant change it. i searched and couldnt find an answer. need help on this one.

Best guess is that the flexplate is the wrong one.... screwed up your cps....Good luck

unfortunatley I agree x2 on possible wrong flex plate.

But first I would chack and make sure you didnt screw up your cps , maybe pull it off clean it and reinstall and see what happens.

I hope its a really easy fix for you though.

ill check the cps. i just hope i dont have to pull the tranny again.
