which one is better and which one is cheaper lookin for ither a 6" or a 4.5" lift

if you have the money go with the bear and buy the skyjacker..
they are just a great. many people well say Rubicon express others will say go Rough country but for my 2 cents nothing holds up like syjacker lifts..
but I know alot of people buying IronRock lifts and if you want flex look that their web page,, great kits that seem to have everything in them.
and the flex is nuts...

I love my rough country lift. Iron Rock is pretty bad *** too.

stay far away from Rough Country. They are having some quality control issues as of late. We have a xj in the shop with bent control arms, its a dd and never seen the trail. Also their bushings are complete crap!

Never had anything but problems with Skyjacker and for that price it should be great, Rough Country I'll leave alone cause everyone else handles that one. I liked my Rubicon Express kit and Clayton and Rock Krawler are excellent from what I've seen just on the high side.

My 4.5" Rough country lift is a daily driver and weekend warrior. I beat the hell out of this thing and have seen no bent control arms, no bad bushings, no problems whatsoever. Even after I smashed my lower control arm bracket on the axle by hitting a brick at 50 mph, had to cut off the bracket and weld a new one on, the control arm held up just fine. Either I got lucky with a solid lift from them or there's a group of people seriously trying to damage their reputation out there.

I have rough country. Its been great so far. Zero problems. Go look at all of xjoffroad's post. He just rips on everything... But more money for the lift, the better it will be.

X2 I have the 4.5" X-Series. Go with it, and find a local distributor. They can usually get them for cheaper than ordering straight from RC. I got mine delivered for $700. Probably a little late posting on this, but I have seen people bash RC and I'd be willing to bet that most of those saying "I had their crap, it's crappy crap and crap on the side" have never owned one in reality. Either that, or they bought the cheapest RC kit made or bought it used. That's the reality of it. Some people go with name brands and succumb to advertisement and trends.

I will only run Rough Country! Its been 3 years since I bought my last new lift. I only deal with Jason. He is the best customer service rep I have ever talked to. They did send me the wrong shocks got the right ones no charge and he told me to sell the other ones witch I did. And sent me a new rear leaf. I really didn't need one. With no sway bars and a welded rear. When I parked the suspension would lean. So no charge for that even though the warranty was up. Just a solid company selling the best parts for way less then they really should.

stay away from skyjacker. go rough country if your on a budget. if not go with clayton or bds.
